In today’s time, a woman has reached the peak in each and every field. She walks parallel with a man in all aspects and that too successfully. But behind the professionally successful person whether man or woman there is an unprofessional mother, mother-in-law, a wife, a sister or a daughter. While the world is celebrating Women’s Day, we have few things to introspect and think seriously about the stature of women in our life. Women’s Day is notmerely giving recognition to the one who is professionally strong but to those women also who are sacrificing their personal likings for the growth of her son and husband. On this occasion of “Women’s Day”, we all give respect to the ladies who are doing very well in their professional fields but we should not forget that if lady is handling her career very well, is just because of another lady who is taking care of her home, her children, maybe her mother-in-law or mother because handling home is as difficult as handling a company where different members of the family has different mindset and that has to be taken care very carefully. Mother is responsible for the nurturing of her child. Family comes first for the woman. Mother of highly qualified professionals, big business tycoons are not known to the world but we should not forget that if a person has reached professional height it is because of his mother who had sacrificed her life for her child’s studies, his activities, happiness by forgoing her own hobbies, rest, and leisure happily just to see her child’s life successful. The woman sacrifices her own career for her children Jobs of housewives are always ignored in our society. At the end of the day, she is always asked the question “ Pura din ghar per beth kar karti kya ho?”. I must urged to that person that being a housewife is a big challenge because a man goes to earn out of the home but she is the one who cook food for the family, helping the children in studies, teaching good habits, taking care of the elder family members, handling many social affairs and at times taking many social responsibilities of her husband with smiling face without any complaint. So let’s celebrate the feminine power of working as well as non-working ladies. Women’s day is not just to praise the efforts of working women but to every woman who is responsible for the betterment of her family and the society.
